AniMate ("the App") is a 2D skeletal animation application developed by htdevs ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the App handles your data.
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device. The App does not transmit your data to any external servers. Your projects, character artwork, animations, and all associated files remain on your device's local storage.
This includes:
- Animation projects and their settings
- Imported sprite images and PSD files
- Cut sprite parts and their configurations
- Skeleton rigs and bone hierarchies
- Keyframe animation data
- Saved poses and templates
- Exported spritesheets and frames
- Application preferences and settings
Data Collection
We do not collect any personal information. The App does not require account creation, login, or registration. We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or contact information
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Crash reports (unless you explicitly choose to send them)
Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Storage access: To import images and PSD files from your device, and to save exported animations to your device's storage.
- Camera (optional): Only if you choose to capture reference images directly within the App. This is never used without your explicit action.
No data accessed through these permissions is transmitted off your device.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
In future updates, we may offer optional cloud backup functionality through Google Drive. If implemented, this feature will:
- Be entirely optional and require your explicit consent
- Use Google's authentication solely for backup/restore purposes
- Store your data in your own Google Drive account, not on our servers
- Not share your data with us or any other party
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You can delete individual projects within the App, or uninstall the App to remove all associated data from your device.
Children's Privacy
The App is a creative tool intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or any other users, as the App does not collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or this website.
